The Company develops public relations that are based on the mission of the Company: supply of heat and electricity to all solvent clients, insuring development of the economic potential of Novosibirsk Oblast.
NOVOSIBIRSKENERGO:

2. bases its activities on humane democratic principles: respect of human values, mutual respect and recognition of the right of all clients to receive our products: electricity and heat,
3. declares its policy to cooperate with separate persons, groups, and institutes of our society.
Informational strategy of the Company in the last year was aimed towards the following goals:
 public relations through mass media forming a positive image,
friendly working relations with public, authorities, and clients,
better psychological climate among staff; dissimilation of information about objectives, activities, and news of the Company.
Press releases about current activities of the Company and significant events, which attract attention of journalists, are issued twice a week. There were 100 printed articles, 45 aired TV plots, 12 published issues of "Novosibirskenergo Bulletin", special publications of subsidiaries "Elektra" and "Inzhenerny Tsentr", and a publication of the volume dedicated to 50th anniversary of Electric Trade Union.
"Energosbyt" actions "Pay and Win" attracted much attention from the public. The Company has organized a drawing of household appliances and souvenirs with Company's logo among people of Novosibirsk who promptly pay for the services. A nomination "Reliable partner" was established for legal entities.
The Company has a web site - www.nske.ru - which hosts information useful for shareholders, consumers, and journalists. The corporate site of Novosibirskenergo is one of the most visited, with 600 citation index.
The Company has established good relations with influential NGOs, municipal and oblast Councils of Elected Officials. The Company has become a member of Interregional Association of Executives of Industrial Companies, Public Council of Novosibirsk Oblast "Social Partnership" and actively participates in their activities. Upper Management of the Company, leaders of the social and the state sectors have discussed development of the power sector in Novosibirsk region, as well production, financial, investment programs, and the tariff policy at meetings and round-tables.
International business connections were strengthened. Business partnerships have been established with English and German power companies. As a part of the training program, a group of division managers had internships. In Novosibirsk, during "Danish Days in Siberia", Novosibirskenergo hosted representatives of Danish business.
The public highly values an active position of the Company in charitable and sponsorship activities for the city. The Company continues to sponsor children from orphanage #1, actively develops contacts with schoolchildren and students. There are close relations between the Company and Novosibirsk State Technical University. Company employees participate in student conferences, and host interns. The university is appointed as the main training center for personnel, more than 100 employees are receiving the second higher education in the Energy Department, on Economics and Management in the Power Sector.
For elderly people, a celebration party was organized in January with veterans and survivors of the Leningrad blockade. On Victory Day, the Management of the Company organized meetings with veterans. In October, during the Decade of Elderly People, all veterans of the power sector have traditionally received presents.
The corporate newspaper "Vestnik Novosibirskenergo" ("Novosibirskenergo News") has great influence on personnel. It helps the integration of daughter companies, saving positioning of the Holding under the common trademark "Novosibirskenergo". The same goal is pursued by a collective contract, signed by the administration of the Company and separated daughter companies with the Electric Trade Union.
An important part of the Company's life is sports. Novosibirskenergo is the General Sponsor of the women's basketball team "Dynamo-Energiya". Last year this team won bronze medals in Russia's Championship. For the Siberian mega-polis, which for 10 years had no winners in the sphere of sports, it was cause for great celebration.
Professional celebration day for the staff is the Day of the Powerman. It is celebrated in December, and the annual competition of all subsidiaries and CJSCs is dedicated to this event. Among other corporate events, there was much interest in the Day of Harvest and New Year, both of which had humorous competitions for the staff.
It is exciting to note that the Company was distinguished among the best by several parameters. Thus CEO of Novosibirskenergo, Kornei Gibert, was the first executive in Novosibirsk Oblast to receive a National Honorary Mark of the Government of Russian Federation "Leader of Russian Economy". The Managers Association of Russia together with the "Kommersant" publishing house named 1,000 best managers in Russia and among them was Vladimir Solovyanov (Novosibirskenergo). This is, without a doubt, recognition of the personal contribution, and the joint work of all of the Management in the last year.
The World Trade Association named Novosibirskenergo a winner of one of their prestigious international awards - Business Prestige - which is awarded to sector companies, which made an obvious contribution to the economic and social life of the country.
As a result, Novosibirskenergo was included in the rating of the "200 largest companies in Russia" compiled by an influential magazine Expert. The newspaper "Evening Novosibirsk" described our accomplishments by saying that an answer has been found to the question "Who is an example for replication in Novosibirsk oblast?" Although Novosibirsk oblast shares 28-30 places in the rating of regions, in fact one can speak of only one company - Novosibirskenergo. During the year, Novosibirskenergo has increased its place in the all-Russia rating by 10 points.
It is obvious that the Company during the last year has increased its place not only in ratings but also in its perception as a Company heading in the right direction to scale tomorrow's heights.
