1911 - Novo-Nikolaevsk municipal electricity generation plant was put in operation.
1924 - Beginning of construction of Novosibirsk Thermoelectric Power Plant (TPP-1) on the right bank of the river.
1931 - Regional Power Management Company Zapsibenergo was established in Novosibirsk for management of the power sector of West Siberia.
1935 - The first turbine with capacity of 24 thousand KW was deployed at TPP-2. Completion of construction of a power transmission line (PTL) of 35 KV connecting TPP-1 and TPP-2 for parallel work.
1936 - The first heating network from TPP-1 was put in operation.
1942 - The first turbine of TPP-3 was put in operation.
1944 - Zapsibenergo was reorganized into Regional Electricity Administration "Novosibirskenergo".
1954 - The power transmission line of 110 KV, Novosibirsk-Barabinsk-Omsk, was put in operation that made it possible to switch Trans-Siberian railroad to electric traction, and that created conditions for broad and centralized electrification of agriculture in Novosibirsk Oblast. The first turbines of Barabinsk Regional Power Station were put in operation.
1957 - The first turbine of Novosibirsk Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) was put in operation.
1960 - Power Transmission Line (PTL) of 220 KV, Novosibirsk-Belovo, uniting the Novosibirsk-Omsk power node with the Kuzbass Energy System was put in operation. TPP-4 was added to the balance of the Energy System.
1972 - The first in the Energy System super-high voltage units - PTL 500 KV and substation "Zarya" - were put in operation.
1978 - PTL of 500 KV, Novosibirsk-Barnaul-Rubtsovsk, was put in operation, through which the Novosibirsk Energy System and the Siberian Energy Union have joined the Unified Energy System of the USSR.
1985 - The first power unit of Novosibirsk TPP-5 was put in operation.
1993 - The Energy System was privatized, and OJSC Novosibirskenergo was incorporated.
2002 - The restructuring program of OJSC Novosibirskenergo was adopted.
