6.1. Results of investment activity
The goals and tasks of the Company’s investment programs for 2004 included the increase of working capacity of the functioning TPS, rehabilitation, technical re-equipment and upgrade of the currently used equipment to enhance its reliability, and development of the heat mains.
In 2004, the Company’ used 2,561 million roubles of capital investments, introduced fixed assets for the amount of 1,711 million roubles, with its real estate objects under registration amounting to 829 million roubles (out of which 613 million roubles-is the value of power generating unit (plant) No. 6 TPS-5, 89 million roubles-the value of the fifth line of the heating mains from TPS-5 to the Vostochny housing estate in Novosibirsk).
In addition, in 2004, the capital investments of 181 million roubles were used up for leasing, (installation of TG No. 14 generator at TPS-3, installation of a transformer at TPS-4, replacement of accumulator storage batteries in the electric networks, purchase of equipment for the APSMCS system (automated power supply monitoring and control system), acquisition of computer equipment, automotive transport vehicles).
In 2004, the Company put into operation:
- power generating unit (plant) No. 6 with a cooling tower No. 3 at TPS-5.
- steam boiler BEM-25 at Barabinsk TPS.
- hot-water boiler ÊÂÃÌ-50 at Barabinsk TPS.
- installation of gas service at BLTPS - ÃÐÏ.
- heating mains from TPS-5 to the housing estate Vostochny in Novosibirsk (1.68 km).
- rehabilitation of ÂË-10;0,4 quarter (101.8 km).
The sources of financing the capital investment were:
- Company’s equity funds: depreciation and profit - 1,400 million roubles;
- Borrowed funds in the form of share interest and credit funds - 963 million roubles;
- Funds from RAO UES of Russia - 87.1 million roubles.
